FAQs

  • As much info as possible! A brief description of the project, dimensions of the space you’d like us to work in and if possible, reference images to help describe your taste and the features you’re looking for.

  • After we have the necessary information about your project, we will use this to provide a budgetary estimate. This may take us 1-3 weeks depending on our schedule. This estimate will be a range of pricing your project type should fit within.

If the price range and projected schedule are agreeable, we will begin the design phase by receiving a design deposit (usually for 10% of projected cost) which will be included in the final project cost.

We will develop the design and typically present 1-3 variations for the client to review.

Once the design is finalized, an invoice will be issued breaking down the complete project. We will receive a 50% deposit of the project for materials.

During production we will receive another 30% deposit for labor.

When the project is finished we will receive the final 10% deposit for the balance owed.

If during the project the scope increases, once agreed upon, we will modify the project invoice and payment schedule to reflect the changes, or issue an additional invoice for the added scope.

  • It will depend on the size of the project, but typically we are scheduling 3-6 months in advance.

  • We work with many different panel types - Veneer, laminate, melamine etc.. for our cabinet projects. We can do lacquered MDF in some circumstances and in small quantity but prefer to avoid this.

For furniture we work with domestic hardwoods like Oak, Ash, Walnut and Maple. We do not work with exotic woods.
